New Chief Financial Officer – Mr. Shane Buckland
Please join us in welcoming Shane to ALWS!
We are pleased to announce that Shane Buckland will be joining the ALWS team as our new Chief Financial Officer, commencing January 2, 2024.
Shane brings with him an impressive 30-year career as a Chartered Accountant, spanning diverse sectors such as private enterprise, government, public accounting, and multi-national corporations. His most recent role at Mars Petcare Australia saw him drive significant improvements and efficiencies within the business.
Shane’s educational journey began at St Paul’s College, Walla Walla, and continued at the University in Sydney, where he pursued his Bachelor of Commerce part-time while gaining valuable experience in a public accounting firm. He further solidified his expertise at KPMG Albury, where he obtained his Chartered Accountant designation after relocating to Albury in 2000.
Shane will be based in our West Albury Office, and he shares his excitement about joining the ALWS team, expressing,
“I’m really excited by the opportunity to work with the ALWS team where I can leverage my skills and experience to serve God through loving the most vulnerable, and truly live out my faith.”
A dedicated family man, Shane has been happily married to Noni for 22 years, and together, they have two wonderful children. Shane and his family are members of the City Central Church Albury.
